So is that one person paying the fee for the day? Can't you just go to the bar, do you have to reserve it? Since you have a small crowd, I would just thin you can go there?

I didnt do the Rodizio. You are at the Del Mar, right, so those restaurants are different from the options at the Lindo, Maya, and Grand.

When you stay at the Del Mar, you can go there and the Beach restaurants only.

When at the Lindo, you can have the previous and also some at the Maya. Still not all. Then the Maya gets all theirs and the previous.

The Grand you can go to all.

We didn't make it to the Del Mar or the Beach. Sorry.

The Italian was amazing! I don't think they could have a bad resturant. Not possible. :)

Thanks,

Noel, I've eaten at the Brazillian Restaurant and its not my personal cup of tea, but it may be yours. Also, they may do it differently for a wedding. They serve several varieties of meat on skewers- the waiters come around with the meat on long metal skewers and put it on your plate. You get a lot of food, if you like the meats! I do remember you got good service because they are constantly coming around. that was in 2006 and I was there with my family.

Good luck and thanks for sharing the file. =)
We had our rehearsal dinner at the Japanese restaurant and it was awesome. Everyone loved it and are still talking about how good it was a couple months later.

I am working with 3 different WC at the Lindo. I am worried that having 3 different people answering questions will lead to some confusion, misunderstanding. Has anyone else had the same problem? 2 of them are great and are fast to respond, the 3rd is HORRIBLE. She only answers part of a question and is really hard to understand. Any suggestions?

I only worked with Lily and Tony and they were both great! Not sure who this third person is. Must have changed since last month when we were there.

well, i'm having my first planning FREAK OUT moment! i requested updated prices for 2010 weddings at the tucan, and there was one tiny little change added from the last price list.

old list: the bride & groom have to arrive 3 days before the ceremony

newly added: (the ceremony day does not count)

crap! we have already booked travel, paid the deposit, and our guests have known our ceremony date for about a YEAR now. (flying out on Wed, ceremony on Fri.) i wrote the wc a quick email asking if there was anything she could do. i really hope they can overlook this tiny little detail, especially since i booked our travel with the rule in mind.

ETA: nevermind!! Gabriela emailed me and said "No Worries. We'll meet you the arriving day and It won't be any inconveniences"

that's what i get for having a mini panic attack!

whew! Thanks Gaby!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
