Iberostar Brides....POST HERE!

if they told you that go with it!!! just confirm by email so you have it in writing. When i started my wc was gabriella, then she transferred. Then Reyna gave me diff answers, which i have found even the same wc answers their own question diff depending on which day you ask! Anyway, when she told me they could not do it... i e mailed her that i was told you could and attached e mail. this happened several times with changing of WC. They honored everything they told me "since I was told I could". Danielle had her reception there and loved it!!!

Ok, so I was torn between resorts, and I have now chosen and confirmed Iberostar Lindo. My wedding will be on December 3rd. I have been reading through this forum and have found SO much info, so thanks to everyone. I hope I can return the favor because you girls have done an awesome job!!

I have 4 months to plan the wedding- I am sure I will be asking tons of questions.

We are wanting to get married at the Iberostar grand, we met with someone at the hotel while we were there and she said kids could come to the wedding and to the reception but only if we rented out La Brisa and had the wedding on the beach. Has anyone done this? I seem to hear from everyone that they told them NO kids so I'm confused!
This is want was sent to me via email before:

Hi Gemma,

Can guests who are not staying at the Grand Paraiso attend the wedding?

They will be staying at the Lindo or the Maya.

Can children attend the wedding?

What would the cost be for both children and adults?

Thank you

Claudia Augustson

Hello girls,

I used Sarah Sproullie for my wedding monogram. I want to order a custom monogram for a bridal shower that I am planning. I have emailed Sarah three times (in two weeks) and have not heard back from her. Does anyone know of another monogram vendor that they have used?

Thanks.

Okay, so we are quite the avid Beer Pong Players and we have many in our group coming down for the wedding who like to play.

I was wondering, since they now make inflatable beer pong...if anyone bought this down to the resort and if there were any problems.

Perhaps we could do it in the actitivities pool and not near the swim up bar area...or just somewhere...but I was just curious if they allow it and if anyone has done it.

ok....this is my question- WHY are we paying so much a person for dinner and drinks when everyone in attendance is a guest of the hotel and all drinks, food is INCLUDED? I do NOT get it.

SHANNON: We love beer pong too- great question!

Ok so I had the exact same question regarding the extra amount. We are paying for the cake, the champagne, the wedding set up, and the private waiter service. Good luck. They also do not give you anything having more rooms booked.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
