We did do a rehearsal the day before and it was completely pointless and a waste of time. They have nothing set up and so it is just "use your imagination" for where things are. I wouldn't bother with a rehearsal, use that time to soak up the sun on the beach!

I know that Kathy said that her guests went over to the Lindo and didn't have problems but I thought I'd just give you a heads up that while we were there I did see staff monitoring bracelets and a few times I saw them asking Beach/Del Mar guests to return to their property (especially at the lazy river).

You have to pay a deposit? To my knowledge they just want a copy of your credit card but dont actually charge anything. Maybe this is just the Lindo.

Sorry you are having such problems! have you looked directly on their website? Sorry I only have the Lindo's email. sad.gif

They asked for a copy of a credit card and a drivers license but we were able to black out some #'s on the credit card but they didn't charge a deposit

my date's coming up quickly w/ no word from reyna on our last details so all that can be done is to sit and wait. in the meantime, ladies i've been wondering....did you research your resort options before deciding on iberostar mexico? i didn't research at all when i chose them...i just knew they were our most cost-effective (translation: cheapest) alternative at the time. everything seems to turn out well once you arrive and sit w/ reyna face to face but i've been wondering if all resorts have this time lag in communication. after having to go through the roller coaster of events in mexico the last few months then topping it off w/ a non-responsive wedding coordinator, would the just-married ladies choose this resort again? are brides to be who aren't hearing back from reyna deciding to take their business elsewhere? I feel that maybe that's what i should have done when it took over a month and many faxes of id and credit card info to set the date w/ gabriella. maybe i'll change my tune once i return from mexico but i've been wondering if the whole experience could have been different depending on the resort? sorry for being a downer...i'm just venting and also curious about the what ifs....

I get legal on Tuesday! I am very excited!!! wOO HOO! We are considering our Mexico wedding our anniversary...but this is still pretty cool! I think I might call in sick... hehe

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
