Thank you for the update. Reyna just emailed me on Monday and mentioned that i would have the same wedding I've been planning with the del mar, but it would just be at the lindo/maya side, I just had to pick a new restaurant for the dinner/reception. But maybe i'm on that line, since the wedding is on June 19th, that it is still up in the air. Oh well, I guess we will see.

 

Gemstone - your wedding pics are great! is that the del mar or the lindo?

 

Does anyone have pictures of the italian restaurant at the lindo?

Yes, my guess is since you are so close to the reopening date that they would rather you just plan for the Lindo in case they are not ready at the Del Mar. I said to my fiancee last night that I have a feeling we will be moved to the Lindo as well. Not sure how much tourism will increase between now and the wedding. Hopefully if it does change they let me know before we are scheduled to leave so that I can look into other options. At this point, I don't care where the wedding is held as long as I am on the beach in Mexico! The rest of the details can be worked out!!

i just called. Reyna's day off. her assist speaks poor english. I have to pick new restr. Please help...I had 3 dinners planned. rehearsal, midweek and and last night along with reception. Where is best place to have/ options...ceremony and cocktail hour. This is a mess. All the programs/itinerary's are wrong now

That totally sucks that they have not been responding to your emails. I am on my 3rd email and they have not responded to me either. It doesn't seem like a very good way to conduct business. It would be nice if they would acknowledge that they are receiving the emails.

OMG! What a mess! I am so sorry that they aren't getting back to you with a clear answer! I wish I knew more about the Maya / Lindo so that I could share that information with you. Whatever you choose will be great! Take a deep breath!

I may have a picture of the Italian restaurant from pics my cousin gave me, I will check. If you have your wedding at the Lindo you can choose restaurants at the Lindo or Maya. We had our wedding dinner at ElRancho which is the steakhouse restaurant in the Maya. The seafood restaurant is across from the steakhouse and the Italian restaurant is on the Lindo property across from the buffet. We had our rehearsal at the Italian. If you were having a private dinner reception at the Del Mar you will not be able to at the Lindo/Maya. You will have dinner and then can rent the Los Vitrales room for a private reception afterwards. Our dinner at the steakhouse was in the back and it felt private, not like we were in the middle of the restaurant so it worked out perfect for us. If you have any questions PM me.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
