Iberostar Brides....POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Ok, I am home now and managed to recover some of my info for the Lindo. I could post links but then you'll have to use points to open them all up...so it might be better if I email them.

I am sure that it is going to be the same as BBtoB so I don't know if it's really worth sending (she willl probably have all of the info as I think I may have already emptied my recycle bin with some things in it) but I'm still willing to email if needed. Let me know.

Hi girls, I do not really follow this thread as many of you are not from tucan or quetzal! However I wanted to let anyone interested know that the tucan and quetzal is closed at this point due to the low census (swine flu). I was suppose to get married there next thursday =( anyways they are moving us to the Iberostar Paraiso Maya. What do you girls think? I would appreciate any info you have?? THANKS =)

In other news, got the grooms wedding ring last night, it was in stock so I was super lucky there!

My travel agent sent me this email from her contact at Go Go Tours this morning.

Subject: RE: Iberostar Hotels

Hi

The details that I got from my HQ.

Please be advised that the Iberostar Paraiso Beach & Paraiso del Mar is temporarily closing for arrivals from May 8th – 31st due to the current low occupancy. Guests will be upgraded to the Iberostar Lindo during this time period.

Maxine Streeter / Agent

It looks like June brides will be in the hotels that they originally booked. I guess that could change if occupancy stays low but I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will be at the Del Mar!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
