I was the same as gemstone. I emailed her to ask when I should be actively communicating with her regarding final details so she emailed me the document. I know I received it earlier than they normally send it just cause I asked for it. I haven't had much contact yet, just a few odd questions here and there.

Thanks gemstone and Lindobride! I figured as much but was worried for a minute that they had forgotten about me as it's been awhile since I've been in contact with the WC's!

 

Lindobride - how's your planning coming along? Has Araceli sent you many other documents so far? It's too bad that I leave just before you get there! I'll have to log right on to BDW to give you a quick review!

Hey gals!

Christy here. My fiance and I are getting married July 31 of this year at the Iberostar Paraiso Maya. We are so excited! We'll be at that resort for a week and then we're switching over to the Grand. I can't wait! Any pointers and suggestions, we are open to! Thanks in advance for your help and chats!

Hello! The planning is going good so far. I've done my boarding passes - I'm sending them out about a month before we leave with some general info on them & I did my program fans. As far as the resort, I'm doing the beach ceremony, cocktail party (need more details on that one), dinner at the Steakhouse and then party at the Vitrales room. As far as flowers, decorations etc., I still have no idea!! How's your planning going?

I've received a picture of the steakhouse & the vitrales room (and pictures of the optional decorations available for the room - at an extra cost), the restaurant menus, the information on the convention center (at one point I thought I would have more than 45 people) & the flower options. And I think that's about it. The rest of my info has come from our fabulous Michelle :)

Oops...forgot one part of the message! It is too bad that we'll just miss each other. What day do you leave? A quick review would be HUGELY appreciated :)

Hi Christy. I'm getting married at the Maya too. Like you, we're staying for a week the switching over to the Grand for our honeymoon. Congrats & welcome!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
