One of the other brides places the order. There were two threads on here about color changing cups and i think both listed the vendor if you do a search.

Hey there! My TA told me to do the same thing, which agency are you using? I have been corresponding with the wc (Gabriela at Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar/Beach) and she always responds within 48 hrs. Let me know if I can help you out with anything! :)

My TA is Alisha from Flight Centre, North Hill Centre, Calgary. I'm contemplating finding a TA that would do the communication with the WC on my behalf. How did it work for you: communicating with the WC an TA yourself? Would you be able to give me Gabriela's email add? I'm having a hard time finding WC's email add.

Thanks so much!

I can send you what I got if you are interested - shoot me your email? What helped us decide is making a list of wedding 'must haves' and resort 'must haves' than we went from there... We choose the Iberostar chian because our group can stay at any of the 5 hotels and still come to the wedding (our family doesn't all get along - so just one hotel containing all our family might make for a pretty big catastrophe!)
Thanks so much for your advice. I do agree with you that if the TA is making a killing, they should definitely work for it. I wouldn't mind talking to the WC's myself but since I'm having a hard time, I'd rather get a TA like yours who would talk to the WC on you behalf. I like the sounds of that...I do think that WC's response better and quicker to TA's. I would really appreciate it if you could send me info on Iberostar resorts. My email add is jon.joann@gmail.com. BTW, do you know if any of the Iberostar resort offers a garden wedding?

Hmmm, my TA did the initial communication with my wc (Gabriela) to secure the wedding date, but after that she informed me the rest was in my hands. I will send you Gabriela's email address when I'm at work in the morning since I can't remember it off the top of my head right now. :)

Gabriela is great. If I may give you my opinion. I wouln't trust TA to handle details of wedding. Gabriela sends pics of everything flowers, ceremony sites.....for you to see and choose and other details like if you want violist, march band...If you are doing the commun and have e mails stating what you picked and decided on from wc I think your better off than showing up thinking everythings done and not ending up with what you want

A couple of questions for you....I leave on April 6th, so it's only 90 days away. I've received the last wedding details document from the WC and I'm wondering how far in advance it was when you sent in your completed form.

Also, I'd like to use the Vitrales room, but I don't have my final guest count yet, so I'm not 100% sure that it will be big enough. Do you know how far in advance I have to tell them that I want that room?

Thanks!
Hi Carla!

Did Araceli send you the last wedding details document or did you request it? I am getting married at the Lindo on April 1, 2009 (we'll just miss eachother!) and haven't heard from or received anything from the WC. I started to panic when I saw your post about receiving the last wedding details document. Have you had much contact with the WC?

Thanks in advance!

Congrates all my Iberostar Brides. I will be in Montego Bay JA Rose Hall Iberostar. I have seen really nice pictures but i would like to hear about this place more. Does anyone know if any airfare deals going to JA or have a travel agent with good rates and what are those rates?

Hi Kristin,

I'm getting married at Iberostar Beach on April 15th, 2009. I e-mailed Gabriela last week asking for pics, location sites, etc so I can finalize some details and she sent me 3 pages of documents. She's great. I don't think they will proactively e-mail you this far in advance so you should e-mail Araceli asking for the info. It's nice to get some of the details out of the way early:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
