Are you sharing a room with FI night before the wedding?

Recommended Posts

We haven't talked about this, but I think I will stay in our suite with my girlfriends or go stay in my parents room. We don't live together now, so I feel like I want to keep things a little more traditional.

Since we tried to shed all tradition out of our wedding we will be spending the night together. Same as some of the other girls, we live together so we'd have a hard time sleeping apart. In the morning we'll do our own things but we didn't think it'd be a big deal to sleep together. Besides he's seen what my dress looks like anyway so it's not like there would be any surprises...haha

Dreams resorts offer a comp room for the night before and i was originally quite sure we would not use it. However, after reading al these posts and remembering the fun with the girls the night before my bro's wedding, I am rethinking. Maybe I will kick him out and invite the girls over for a slumber party! We live together now, so what is one night apart? We will def see eachother before ceremony because it is not til sunset and we will do pics while the sun is still up. Good luck figuring this one out!

I made a vow to buck as many traditions as possible, but how often do you really get a night alone with the girls anymore?

Not sure what is going to happen now as most of our guests have bailed including his best man lol so even though they say you get a comp room i doubt it it'll be way too busy for them to do that.

I then thought i'd spend the day with my best m8 but she is bringing some random chick so think i'll wander off, plug in ipod and wait until someone comes and finds me and tells me to put my gear on lol

We have been living together and raising kids for a few years now. So...probably. lol

But I did mention the tradition to him, and told him it's up to him. He just sorta looked at me blankly....so I figure we'll be in the same room. I'd actually like to go our seperate ways after breakfast though and avoid each other as much as possible.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
