I love this idea!

We are going to spend the night apart. He will stay with his best man, who lives far away so it will give them some man-time together. My sister wil probably stay with me. I can't wait to see my FI for the first time on our wedding day as I walk down the aisle!

Almost every aspect of our wedding has been a discussion (many of them heated!), but this is one thing we never even had to discuss. We both know we do not want to stay together at the resort until our wedding night. He will be staying with two of his guy friends and I will be staying with my sisters. Honestly, I get a little choked up thinking about how emotional the last night with my sisters will be. BUT, it will be SO much fun!

Also, we will not be living together until we come back from our trip, so that probably has something to do with it.

Ok, we totally intended on staying the night apart, but in the end, we both just wanted a really good night of sleep. We slept together, and I kinda denied him the night before. He left early in the morning, and we didn't see eachother again until the ceremony.

We were so busy the night before, it would have been difficult for him to pack up all of his stuff and leave our room.

Absence makes the heart grow founder.

We aren't planning on spending the night together - I like the idea of the anticipation on the big day. I plan on kicking him out for the night - no idea where he is going to sleep but I'm sure we can figure something out :P

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
