Separate rooms. He will be with his brother and friends and I will be with my mom and sisters. It's like one more night with my family before I go off and begin a family of my own.

I like the idea of not seeing each other until the ceremony. Even though we live together, there is something about him not seeing me until the big moment . . . I like the anticipation and excitement!!

He feels the same way . . .

I had thought about sleeping in my girlfriends room the night before (2 of them came w/out their husbands and so it would be a girl thing) but that night was when alot of our guests arrived and so we all stayed up pretty late drinking and everyone ended up in our room ordering room service until 1:30am so by the time everyone left it made not sense to split up anyway and I was too drunk and tired to worry about packing crap to take to another room so we stayed together and had breakfast together then parted around noonish..

I feel your pain lol

Not sure what we are doing yet. I'm not bothered either way but FI can't decide lol He originally he said he would go stay with his BM and his wife could bunk in with me - i told him to bog off I'd met her handful of times and it wasn't happening lol

So probs decide on the day but I have a feeling i'll be mashed with my best mate that night so probs won't know where I end up lol

My fiance and I live together but we have decided that the night before the wedding we will sleep seperately. I'll probably stay with my best friend so that we can wake up and meet the rest of the girls at the spa. He, on the other hand, will be with the guys. Who knows how much sleep he will really get but I warned him, I'll be looking better in the wedding photos!!!!smile120.gif

And of course that's all that matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure what we are doing yet. I agree, I have been sharing a bed with him for so many years so I don't sleep well alone anymore. My coordinator also made the point that you end up calling eachother all the time anyway to talk about plans, last minute things, etc. That is a choice only you can make. Do what you want!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
