Are you sharing a room with FI night before the wedding?

Recommended Posts

We don't want to stay together the night before so we will be sleeping separately. We will probably get together for breakfast since our wedding is at 5:30 but after breakfast we will go our separate ways til I walk down the aisle.

we discussed it and felt like we have been living together for over 3.5 yrs and are used to sleeping together - we don't sleep as well apart and why get a messed up night's sleep the night before our wedding KWIM?

My fiance and I are not traditional..we are Christians that love our faith and want to honour God, each other, our families and our new marriage. We don't currently live together and have decided to use our wedding week to bond with friends and family. We will be staying apart for the entire week as our wedding is near the end of our trip.

I want to be bonding with my sisters, friends and mother. I think this is a significant time in my life when the love of the women closest to me will mean much to me before this monumental event. My FH will do the same with his friends and family. We do not want to come together as husband and wife until we are. On our wedding night, we will upgrade to a honeymoon suite. God willing, we have our whole lives together...:)

Damn the post above me made me a little veclempt!! Adorable.

I will be hopping over to my best friend's hotel to stay with her and talk trash and chain smoke on her balcony, even though I don't smoke. :P

FI doesn't know this yet, but I'm sending him to his best friends to have man-talk and smoke cigars or something. I think our room will be empty the night before, which is a nice waste of $800 but oh well, whatev!!

Then the day of, my girls and I will hit the gym in the morning, then mosey on back to my resort where we'll take our time getting ready and avoid the men until 5pm.

My FI thinks we should stay apart the night b4 bc it will make that day so much more. We will be missing each other. We live together now so i'm pretty sure I wont sleep very well wirh out him, but i'm not sure how well I would sleep that night anyways. so we will most likely Party the night b4 and then part ways and not see each other all day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
