Are you sharing a room with FI night before the wedding?

Recommended Posts

I believe that we will proabably stay separate. I would like to spend the night with my girls and I'm sure he would like to spend the night with his guys. I think it would be fun to not see him until we are ready to do a photo session before the ceremony. :) But that is all in theory!

We are spending the night apart. I think he is going to crash with some of his friends. We live together and we miss each other when we don't get to see each other. And it gives him time to spend boys time and me girls time with my girls. I don't get to spend that much time with just girls. Plus I think it will add to the drama of seeing me walk down the aisle for the first time. That is just my opinion.

Also, I sleep terrible without him but I am going to sleep terrible the night before anyway.

We spent the night together and it was perfect :) We actually woke up for sunrise (not planned, but really special) and then spent the morning together including a couples massage. We had discussed going our seperate ways, but we were at a very small resort and it would've been difficult. He was going to go fishing that morning or something, but in the end, I'm really glad that we stayed together. We lived together, so sleeping in seperate beds just felt odd.

We are lucky!

Our resort (MLD) during low season has no single occupancy supplementary fee. So many of our single guests have a whole room to themselves. So I am having a girlie sleep over in my MOH's room, and he is having a macho cigar night the night before we say ''I DO ! ''

FI is turning out to be very traditional about these kindsa things which I find both cute and funny. So we will be sleeping in separate rooms the night before. I will be staying in our room (will probably grab a BM to come stay with me) and he will find someone else to bunk with for the night... not exactly sure how this is gonna work out but we'll make it happen - even if we need to get an extra room for 1 night wink.gif

We're doing it a bit more traditionally. Each of us are sharing a room with our MOH or BM the night before the wedding. Then the night of the wedding, we'll be together in a suite and the MOH and BM can either have a room to themselves or bunk up with some of their friends that are coming too.

I spent the night with my BMs. 3 of us we snuggled into a King size bed. It was actually a lot of fun hanging out with them - kinda like a slumber party.

DH was adament about not seeing each other until the ceremony, so we made sure to call around before going anywhere. It was actually pretty funny!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
