Has anyone used Florenta Flower design?

Recommended Posts

I have worked with Lola from Florenta many times, she's very well prepared and trained in Floral Design. Many flower arrangements from my pics are from her, many Dreams' brides have used her services as well.

I've been speaking with Lola as well, and I'm going to book her. Her prices are great, and I had her put together a mock centrepiece for me and take a pic of it, and I like what she did a lot. She's SO good at responding too! So far I've had a great experience with her.

My WC told me she doesn't have a flower shop really (??), so her flowers aren't as fresh as the other vendors. For what he told me, apparently she gets the flowers one day before by plane, but it doesn't have a cold place to keep them, and when is really hot or humid the flowers don't stay as fresh as the ones from vendors that do have a cold place to keep them (apparently they gotta be in a room at 38, 39° or they will melt). So that's what he (my WC) says.

I'm getting married in April at 4:30 pm and it's going to be hot, so I want to have fresh and good looking flowers, that's why I didn't chose her. I don't have a big budget for flowers but I don't want them to be ugly either. My WC recommended Rayen at downtown San Jose and they have beautiful designs as well and the price is pretty decent compared to other flower shop in town.

The web page is Floreria Rayen - FlorerÃ*as en Los Cabos and the email I have is claudiamd64@hotmail.com, her name is claudia mendez and she's been great from day 1.

Hope this info helps and Good Luck!!

That's false, she has a beautiful shop downtown Cabo San Lucas, most, if not all florists in Cabo get their flowers by plane (the sooner to the date the fresher) and she does have coolers to keep them at the right temperature your WC is misinformed.

Hola Claudia,

how are you?

may be your WC is confusing florenta with another flower shop; florenta is based in Cabo San Lucas, Down Town. We have all the necessary equipmment to keep the flowers nice and fresh. :)

please give our info to your WC so he can come and visit the shop, i am sure he is very confused.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
