What color bouquet should i have?

Recommended Posts

I love dark red flowers. I know when I get married evrything is going to be red. If you cant find them maybe do something multi-color of dark flowers. Muti-color is always beautiful in your wedding pics. They match everyone! Good luck finding the perfect one for you!

Alyssa - if you are worried about them not matching, what about having like 3 dark flowers mixed in with the pink? That could look really good and totally tie it together without messing up the dark red look you have in other parts, OR the original bouquet that you wanted!

But I also have to add that I had orange shoes for teh AHR and JA and orange flowers for the AHR and pink flowers for JA. It was never obvious, and to me, it just brought in 2 of my wedding colors. I was looking at your pictures and I think it wouldn't ruin anything at all if you had pink flowers and your red shoes! But I am all about contrast and flashy-ness.

Alyssa, to be honest, when I was looking through your planning thread, I thought your bouquet was an odd choice. I really liked it, but it seemed out of place. Just the first reaction I had. I think the dark orchids that were previously posted would be absolutely stunning and tie everything together beautifully.

Amy, did you see my shout out about the shoes you sent me in my planning thread? i can't wear them - they are 1/2 size too tight sad.gif - do you want me to send them back?

can I just say.. I'm DYING for your wedding to come up and see how gorgeous everything will be. You have such style and attention to detail.
Awww - thanks girlie!!!

and to everyone else - i totally agree about the dark - i called my WC and he said "no problem" so it is all good - we are going dark lol.

also, i had my 2nd fitting today and my seamstress gave me a bunch of the fabric from my dress that she cut off of the bottom when she hemmed it - i am going to mail it to my WC tomorrow and the florist will use it to wrap my bouquet and FI's bout :)

OMG i LOVE peonies but they do not do well in heat AT ALL and i don't think are too common in Hawaii. I did speak with the WC and he said no problem to go with the same inspiration pic but in a dark red/burgundy color so i am all set!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
