I originally picked dresses and wasn't "happy" with them. Everyone told me I couldn't have white.. well then I saw these and fell in LOVE... I searched and searched for them and found out from a great girl on this website that they were bought as regular white dresses and the ribbon was added after the fact.. Just wrapped around and sewn in. I took the pictures (I have many of them different angles and such) to a dress maker and they are being custom made..

Hi ladies

So far, one of my bridesmaids' gifts is a travel wallet from Danier Leather.  It has a removable passport holder, with slots for boarding pass, credits cards and passport.  It was on sale for 29$ (down from 45$) and they have a lot of cute colors.

My wedding isn't until March 2012 so I'm picking up things when I see they're on sale!  I'm also thinking of getting them a starfish necklace to wear on the wedding day and a pair of really nice sunglasses.  I'm also paying for their dresses.

My fiancé has no idea what to get the guys....any ideas???

I also got them starfish necklaces to wear with their dresses, and I paid for their dresses. The expense to travel from Canada to Mexico is pretty high - so I really wanted to try to treat them to some nice things.

Those are some awsome gifts! I would really love to pay for my bridemaids dresses but I am not sure I can afford that.  I think I am going to go with the Robes with matching slippers and maybe matching Old Navy Flip Flops.

Thanks for that idea!cheer2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
