Lilpaisley - Thank you for posting the pictures! Very helpful.

Indigo and ExcitedJ - good luck with your upcoming weddings! I am sure everything will be WONDERFUL and I look forward to hearing all about it when you return.

I definitely know I want to get married in Montego Bay and am deciding between Riu and Grand Palladium. Did you have anything that made you choose the Riu over other resorts in MoBay? Is there contact information to speak with someone directly about packages? Any information would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks!!!!!

well, i am going there for my vacation from 9/2-9/9.

my father-in-law came over yesterday. he just came back from jamaica. plus, he spoken to some of his family members and friends in the mobay area. according to him and them, the resort is finished. they are working on setting everything up, but the exterior is finished.

hopefully, i brought some more good news into this forum. i've seen these same exact pictures on tripadvisor.com. i guess you use their website too.

good stuff...

hey -

Not such great news for you some of you ladies... Due to passport issues we've had to move our RMB wedding to Virgin Islands. Which means come next month - I will not be able to give you guys the full RMB review I hd promised.

I was a bit bummed out at first but after lots of last mintue research on St. Thomas I think our wedding will be just as great.

Maybe we'll go to RMB for our anniversary instead. :)

ExcitedJ,

Don't worry about us. We have Tripadvisor reviews and pics to keep us satisfied until it's our time.

My sister just went to St Thomas and St John for her 1st anniv w/ her DH. They had a fab time and ended up making an anniv trip baby. I've also been to St Thomas and loved it, but I was only there a short time on a dive boat trip.

Have a fab time and we still want a full report w/ pics when you get backbunny_4.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
