If you want to use your Ipod I think it's worth it to invest in a high quality sound dock, like a bose and then you don't have to pay for a DJ. The main reason I say this is b/c even if the DJ has a computer to hook up to your ipod, if he has his own itunes on the computer you cannot plug your ipod into his itunes b/c it will run an update and clear your music off your ipod.

      HI,

I also received an email from Chandlyn quoting the price for the disco as
$250/hr. I wrote her back to clarify and she corrected her email and said it was $250 total for 2 hours.

That's good to know :). I thought 500 for 2 hours was a little steep.

the 2 things regarding this wedding that i am anal about are the pics and the music. everything else i can go with the flow. sooo...i am bringing my own photographer and my own music on ipod with a bose docking station. i have not decided if we will use the dj, but if i don't like the music i will have my ipod. i will be mad if i pay $150p/hr and i don't like the music.

Did anyone bring an ipod or did everyone us CD's? I was gonna do both just to have a backup but I don't think I am going to use the DJ at all. Haven't decided.
