Laser hair removal?

LEIGH

Recommended Posts

I did it for my bikini line and I love it. I saw results after the 4th session. The hair grows back just very differently and much less. I use to have to shave all the time and worry about it when I would go to the beach-now maybe I shave every other week.

I did it for my wedding (I think there are quite a few threads out there if you search, when I get a moment, I will try to merge them.), but I got a full brazilian. I did 5 sessions before we left for JA and it was great. The hair gree back MUCH less and thinner. I had a 3 year contract with the place, and then it closed down at the end of the summer. So I never got ot finish and you cn't really see the results anymore at all. Well, I guess it's still thinner and less, but not nearly as little as it was right after the sessions.

I thought that it's not supposed to grow back at all. Did you go through all your sessions? I totally want to do it to my bikini!!!

I think in most cases, that hair will never be gone 100%. Something about hair grows out of the follicles at different times, so only active growth hair is zapped with the laser. I mean, I guess if you went enough for a long time, perhaps you could get all the cycles, but my tech had told me that mainly it just gets way finer and less of it all together.

I have be getting electrolysis done and have been very happy with it so far. A friend recommended the lady i go to and her hair has not come back at all. I researched both electrolysis and laser hair removal, i though electrolysis was the better option for me because i was not doing such a large area.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
