I had monthly treatments for a year and after a 9 month break hair has grown back everywhere but it is lighter and lasts way longer when i shave, so Im still happy with it..

I have an appointment tomorrow! smile123.gif I asked if they could do a test on my skin and she said yes. Wish me luck! I really dont want to grow a beard anytime soon!
Sounds like we are in same boat. Please find out the name of the machine and post after your appointment. Good luck and just think happy thoughts while on the table!!! I have had underarms and small area on chin done. Underarms 3 treatments have been fine. One underarm more sensitive then the other. Chin burned at 3 tries. Not doing it again!! My doc is Indian and is suppose to specialize in ethnic skin, but she doesn't have the "darker" skin perfected yet. Her words.. blush2.gif

Oh well, good luck again!!

I think its sheer llight but its all in the way that they set the machine. OMG is the burn obvious?
Actually I'm on the East Coast in Delaware. Compton is a place that I grew up in here in Delaware.

I did read some info today about the machine type (diode) it think. Yes it does depend on the setting and maybe what's going on with your body that day. The doc who performed laser on my chin and underarms used the same exact settings at each visit but on two occasions i suffered "minor" burns on my chin and nothing on the underarm. She thought that was odd smile35.gif The area is small about size of a quarter and I immediately started with some neosporin. I've been doucing it with lightener creams and cocoa and it's barely there anymore.

I did. I got the full extended brazilian. I would def recommend it. The thing is you have to be aware that the hair will grow back, it's just thinner and much less. Since the hair grows in cycles or someshit. I bought a package of 6 and used 5 before my wedding. I am going to use the last one soon, and then I have a 3 year guarantee that if any hair grows back, I can come in for another treatment. So that pretty much means, I bought 3 years of treatments.

Oh, there are a few other girls on here that have gotten it done too, so try doing a search and you should find some discussions on it...

I know someone who had her arms and "hoo-ha" done. Everything looks good (I'm taking her word on some of this!) except for her lower right arm. She got some open sores from it and has had them for about a month. She's been to a couple of doctors, but it hasn't really cleared up much.

A girl at work SWEARS by it! She gets her "hoo-ha", armpits, and upper lip done. I think she goes in every few weeks for a treatment and pays around $300 each session. I would totally do it if I weren't strapped for cash right now. How amazing to not have to shave... for 3 years!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
