OMG, lulubelle that is awful! I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and thank you so much for posting this and warning us, I'm sure it wasn't something you wanted to relive.

She had an enlarged heart, but the doctors said that the wrap may have contributed to her death. She was excited because they told her that she lost the most inches they had ever seen, and 24 hours later she was dead. I say, ladies it is not worth it. This girl was 24 years old and had her whole life ahead of her. Hope this message deters someone. Best wishes to you all.
I am so sorry to hear about that, that is terrible.

Did she know she had an enlarged heart?

Just to put another spin on things. I wanted you guys to think about something before you have it done. Your wedding dresses will fit your perfectly as of your last dress fitting, if you do this body wrap thing a couple of days before your wedding your dress may not fit right. Just a thought..

No, she did not know. That is what was so scary about the whole thing. So sad. I would just tell anyone who is thinking of doing this to really monitor how you feel afterwards and if you feel weak or faint, go to the doctor! Don't wait.

Lulubelle - I am so sorry to hear about your loss. That must have been so shocking and traumatic! Thank you for taking the time to share. i will say that when I started reading the thread I thought it sounded like a great idea and now I just don't think it's for me. Thank you - I know if must have been hard to post that warning for us. smile03.gif
