Eyebrow Threading

Recommended Posts

Omg my mom just got her eyebrows threaded and they look great. I can't wait to get mine done. I just got mine waxed last week so I'm going to let them grow in a little bit and get mine threaded too. My mom said it wasn't painful at all. I hope she was telling the truth because I hate the pain of waxing. I swear atleast one tear falls each time (I'm such a big baby lol). Have any of you ladies had an eyebrow threading experience?

I got mine done recently. It is so clean they don't have to do much twezzing in the end like with waxing. It hurt me a little bit when it is done towards the middle of your lid only because that skin is so thin. You will love the look!

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for close to about 10 years now. In fact I just got them done last week! Generally I try to get them threaded about once a month or until I start looking like Oscar the Grouch, tee hee.

Threading is great, the look is so clean and even after all these years I'm still in awe as to how precise it is. The first time I got em done it hurt a little just because I didn't know what to expect. But after one session you should be good to go. It's a very popular method where I live (Cerritos, Cali), which is close to a strip that features mostly Indian retailers and restaurants. Great eyebrows for $5.99, hey you can't beat that!!!

I started getting my eyebrows threaded a couple of years ago. I think it is pretty painful, especially the first time! It seems like the more often you do it the less painful it is. I don't do it that often, but when I do it forces me to tear no matter how hard I try not to. I still like the results better than waxing, so the pain is worth it to me. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
