Dreams Cabo

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'ma future Cabo Dreams Bride, I love reading all the posts on this website, they are so helpful!

I recently just booked my date with Yesica @ Dreams, had to call cause emailing took forever. Can any Dreams brides tell me what they did when booking their date. I called Yesica, booked the date, then she emailed me confirmations and the authorization form, I filled it out with $500 deposit and haven't heard anything, is my date secure? Any advice would be appreciated!

welcome to the forum...if you paid your deposit then your date is secure...you may want to keep the email correspondence though just in case.

Hi There!

I am hoping to be a Dreams Cabo bride, and have also been dealing with Yesica. How long did it take to hear from her after the first e-mail?

I had sent her one back last week, asking about available dates for 2009 in May or August, and I don't know if I should be calling her yet?

It seems like Dreams Cabo is such a popular place to get married!!!

Sorry, just minorly freaking out already.... :)

I am also looking to be a Dreams bride in October 09 and have so many questions I don't event know where to begin...

Those of you that have already booked your dates, did you give Yescia a number of dates?? Did any of you choose one of the packages or did you create your own special day from scratch and not a package??

Any feedback would be great because I am trying to figure out where to begin.

Lisa

it can take a few weeks to hear back if you do not have a date booked...they get alot of requests from people that are not that serious so they have to weed through all those emails.

if you work with a TA that works pretty closely to them, you can usually hear back quicker...

if you have amonth or day you want, just email and ask them if it is available...most of the weekend dates for may and june are already booked and october and nov. are starting to book out as well.

some people get the whole package, others do a la carte so it really depends on if you want what is in the package.

Trust me I know exactly what you guys are going through. It did take a while to hear back from Yesica, I had to basically break down and call and I was so glad that I did! I spoke to her directly and she was very nice. I too wanted May or June 2009, but there were no weekends, so that is why I opted for August. But I def. recommend calling if you are impatient like me :) But this forum has been a life saver for me! Also I went with the Ultimate package, that was one thing also where I had no idea what to do, if anyone has any advice on the packages I would appreciate it.

I just booked Aug. 22, 2009 for my Dreams wedding. I contacted Mariana by e-mail and phone. My first e-mail was to question if my date was available and she responded within two days (I put the subject as "Attn: Mariana"). After I found out that my date was available, I e-mailed her to confirm but I didn't hear back for a few days so I called on Sunday and left a message. I received my confirmation from her today. I'm sure they are extremely busy but luckily I was able to get pretty fast responses. I'm planning on doing the Paradise package since most of the vendors I want to get myself and I'm sure I can get 10 rooms booked and have the package for free.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
