Ok so I fell in love with Gwen stefani's wedding dress

Click the image to open in full size.

Obviously, mine won't be as big or heavy as that one, but I want to do something similar...or at least dying the bottom like a purple or lilac color. Has anyone ever tried dying their dress? I know it seems crazy, but I don't plan on spending too much on my dress anyways, because I don't want a big elaborate dress, it is going to be a simple sundress-type dress.

Let me know, any help would be appreciated! I don't know if I can do it myself or have it done somewhere.

    Thanks!!

Ok so I have said this before but I work in fashion and specialize in dresses... One of the HOTTEST trends right now is tie dye, ombre effects and dip dying which all look similar to Gwens dress, The best part is it ranges from expensive gowns to sundresses. So I am sure you will find one you love. Try brands like OC by Oleg Cassini, Donna Morgan, Zum Zum, Niki, Nightway, Adian, Niteline, Nordstrom and Lord and Taylor should have this style available

I don't know where you can find a dress or how to dye one but I like the idea of it. I think it would look great and perfect for a DW.

You should be able to get a white bridesmaids dress and dye it. They don't tend to have as many layers and are less expensive.
