Some GREAT reasons to skip using plastic bags...

We use reusable bags nearly all the time now. We have special ones with compartments for the liquor store and really big bags for Costco as well as the cloth bags for the grocery store. Our grocery store gives us a credit for using the cloth bags.

I just wanted to add all plastic is made from oil. Think of things that are plastic you can get rid of will also get us away from depending on foreign oil. Plastic bottles, plastic toys, plastic cups and plates. Things like that, that you can replace with other things like wood toys, wood plates and glass cups.

I used a reusable bag at the mall today. I think about it for grocery shopping, but this was the first time I thought to take a bag to the mall with me.

it was much more comfortable than plastic bags. I had a nice shoulder strap & I was able to fit it all in one bag.

I'm so happy you posted this. I read this same email a few weeks ago. I try to use my reusable bags as much as possible. I have vowed to never use plastic bags again. If I forget my green bags everything goes right in the cart no bags! I have even made suggestions at target and local grocery stores to use paper bags and eliminate plastic all together.

Every little bit helps

I have been meaning to buy the green bags and use those instead, I keep forgetting about it and I know I should be. We don't live very "green" by any means, but I figure whatever I can do to make a little bit of difference will help. I bought a nalgene bottle the other day to take to work with me instead of buying bottled water. Next time I am at the store I'm going to pick up some bags.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
