Blue Bride Needs Help with flower scheme

Recommended Posts

I did turquoise and aqua for an ocean pallet. My flowers were white orchids for centerpieces. The BM bouquets were all different shades of pink orchids, with a few green ones thrown in.

My bouquet was white and pink peonies with orchids.

Cute Erin! I am definately going to find ribbon to use like you did.... the orchids are rediculously priced in PV so I won't do that, but may use the same color ideas.

Kerry, I am also planning on doing runners or squares- our tables are round so squares will probabably work better... maybe 2 squares overlaped. Thanks for your help!

Hi Ladies,

My BM's are in pool so not that far off in your dress... I was trying to figure out different options and then I found the perfect flowers for me the other day .. here is what my bo. is gonna look like..

Maybe this will help. I am now going with the orange and pink theme to finish up with the blue.

I am also doing a turquise blueish and going for the pinks as a contrast- bright and beachy. If you don't want to go so bright how about yellow? My GF did her wedding with more of a Navy / darker blue and white BM dress and then her flowers and accents where yellow and white flowers- and her bouquet and everything looked amazing next to her and in the pics....Classic colors.

Yup this is my finaly decision on colors. I was going around and around and then I saw this and I had to have it for my wedding and everything just fell into place. These are Faux Flowers from a woman I saw on ebay... her flowers are beautiful and other brides from here have used her before too. She can do pretty much anything for you. She will make a mock for you and then you can decide. Mine is going to have a tiny bit more of the little pink flowers sticking out.. I think those are really cute.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
