Where to download music for IPOD

Recommended Posts

Sorry to get in the middle of a controversial subject, but I wanted to point out that Limewire/Frostwire/Bittorrent, etc. are all ILLEGAL.

You wouldn't walk into a wedding shop and STEAL your shoes, would you? Why would you consider stealing your music?

Consider all the viruses, trojans, etc. that are all over the illegal sites as the "security guards" that will punish you if you steal the music.

Sorry, I just have very strong feelings about this. I don't care if you hire a pro DJ (who, by the way, you should ask where he got his music!) but at least support the people who MADE the music.

So, iTunes... guaranteed perfect quality, and legal.

Thanks for your concern, but I find nothing wrong with downloading a few songs of which I have already purchased the CD's for. iTunes doesn't carry some of the songs I need, so I have no choice. The artists are getting plenty of $$$ don't you worry!

Ok so if you already own the CD then just rip the CD to your computer. ITunes software will even do that for you. Use 192kbps and you'll be fine. It's legal to make a backup of a CD that you own.

Here, let me fix your reply, though..

Point is, it's theft. No matter how you try to justify it. Sorry for being so blunt but it's the truth.

I agree w/ DJay on the point of P2P networks illegality...Youdid say you can't find everything you want on Itunes, if you can't find what you need on Itunes, try Emusic.com You can even get 25 free downloads for trying their service.

there are lots of legal music download sites available.

Ummm I just want to clarify that using Limewire/Frostwire/Bit torrent in and of itself at not illegal. The illegal part comes based on what the user chooses to download. For example there are radio clips on these locations from the 1930s/1940s that open the the public and are legal to download.

Just didn't want to anyone to think that a p2p/bit torrent network was illegal, they are great tools for the right purpose.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
