I bought a domain from godaddy.com and am using a wordpress blog as my website. You can have "pages" in addition to the recent posts you make in a regular blog. I like and dislike it, but I was crunching for time. STDs went out 2 days ago and the website is a bit bare I think... but it is good enough for now.

Ours was ready when we sent them out. My friend sent hers without doing anything to her site so everyone goes to look and nonthings there and it still is not even started that was almost 2 months ago now. I think nonthing being there right away will discourage people from going to your site again.

And btw FI researched several different websites and found this one the best rated overall! It does seem very easy to use so far and has tons of features :)

I am in the same quandary. I have my site up and will be sending the Save the Dates next month. My website is with ewedding.com and I like it for simplicity and non-cheezy templates. I will have the basic info about Palm Springs travel/reservations, registry info, and event info.

I haven't decided if I want the online RSVP information on there though. It would be nice if we got early RSVPs for the head count but I don't want people to get the Save the Date in September for the April wedding and RSVP yes because it's so far away, only to decide in Jan or Feb that they changed their mind. I may add the online RSVP part in January when the actual invites go out.

Good luck! wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
