Yeah I hear ya, but it's not THAT bad, it just a normal family thats all. She can be a bitch to her hubby, as we all can at times ya know? I wouldnt not watch the show b/c of it, its not like they "throw down" during the show, its normal bickering stuff, that's dropped just as quick as it started. Eg: if one of the kids is outside and has to go pee, Kate will say to Jon "Jon, take Alexis in to pee..." and Jon is usally dilly dallying so Kate will yell "JONNNN HELLLOOOOOO TAKE HER TO PEE BEFORE SHE PEES HERSELF!" The parents are loving and do so much for their kids, constantly loving them.

I just watched 4 episodes in a row last night. I record them because DH doesn't really like watching it. I watched the episodes where the little kids got new beds. Crazy!

How would you like to walk into a furniture store and see 8 little kids running around trying to pick out their new bed. They were cracking me up!!

I do watch the show often, but it does sometimes amaze me how much they stress the "8 kids". What is bigger is that they are all the same age!

I come from a area with lots of good catholics. Most of my parents friends came from homes with 5+ kids. One of my friends is one of 12!

These are kids who were raised in small homes with one bathroom!

I'm not saying that she doesn't work hard or that I would trade places, just that lots of people have lots of kiddos.

I guess we don't know if we can handle it (having a small family in a big home) until you have to! My fiance and his twin brother and sister had to share a bedroom growing up that was the size of most walk in closets! He says it made them much closer. I am sure the Goslins will be close as well!

I love the show! Alexis is the cutest and just brightens my day! My mom loves the show, too and my sister just started watching. My family had 3 kids but some of our cousins came from families from 6, 9 and 13 kids! But my mom says to have 6 kids at all the same age is tough. When you have a big family, like our cousins, the older kids end up helping with the younger ones to keep the parents sane. My mom owns a daycare now in her retirement (I think secretly to get ready for my babies - talk about pressure!) and she has no more than 6 kids at one time with two caretakers. Its fun to go visit but its exhausting!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
