how can it be so hard to find a pair of sneakers??

Seriously, how? Shoe stores carry women's size 5 and 5.5 in regular shoes, but the sneakers always start at 6. Yeah, that flops off my damn foot like a clown shoe! (Ok, so maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but whatever, they don't fit me!) So I move on over to the children's department and they have a size 3 (slightly too small) and a five (even bigger then the adults 6, i swear). No 3.5, 4 or 4.5 in sight ANYWHERE, not even in ugly shoes so I can find my real size. I haven't bought a real sneaker in years. I usually buy whatever is cute and cheap when I am in Target or some equal-type store. So where in the hell can a girl find adult sneakers in size 5, I ask? The children's don't have the styles that I would want, but I would suck it up, if they had the damn size I needed. But they don't, which makes me want to hold out for a womens, but I have no idea where to even start looking! Any ideas ladies?

OK, first I am totally jealous that you have such tiny feet. Second, I don't know if they have Fleet Feet by you, but they do a foot analysis to see how you walk and how you wear down your gym shoes and make sure to put you in the right kind of shoe and at the right size. They can be pricey depending on the type of shoe you pick, but at least you know you are getting the right shoe. I would always buy cheap gym shoes and now that I have been fitted I know what the right shoe is. It makes a big difference.

Thanks for the offer, Heather! That's really nice of you. I haven't worn an adidas since shelltops in highschool, so I have no idea how they woudl fit me. I will have to check them out. For some reason I gravitate towards Nike's...

I know right! A sneaker connection, that's pretty cool. I wasn't trying to buy online though, cuz I need to try them on. My feet are small, but they are high, so sometimes I need a bigger size to accommodate my instep.

I know, I am so gald to have small feet. It's the one thing that I totally love about my body! But that place sounds super cool, I am going to look them up right now.

I am scared to buy sneaks online, since I really want them for comfort so I can begin taking long walks (hopefully working my way up to jogs!)

I was going to suggest Eastbay too, DH & I have been ordering shoes from them since before the internet when it was catalog only (damn we're old!)

They have good selection of styles and sizes, you can search by the sizes you mentioned and they have all kinds of Nikes. Good luck!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
