Yep, I think that answers it. I'll find out when I start making my invitations in the summer - I might have to harass you later about it though.

Also, I'll disregard your "messy" room if you disregard my amazing ability to not understand simple instructions and to make things more difficult than they actually are!!

:) Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!

No problem. I'm glad you got it. I'll be around in the summer to help...no problem.

They actually averaged about $5.15 per invite not including extra stuff I bought. The vendor I was looking at with similar invites charged about $12 per invite, so I guess I saved money?? But, if I would've just got regular invites, I think I would have saved a bundle.

Ok Jess, I'm going to start my invites soon. I hope you don't mind if I pretty much completely steal your idea, I'm not that creative lol. I also don't know what mulberry paper is, so I'm off to the craft stores to look at some paper and maybe to some fabric stores for inspiration... questions definately to follow!!

I'll try to leave you alone as much as possible - I've already done some research on mulberry paper (apparently don't cut - moisten and rip!) - lol, but just an FYI, my questions get annoying after a while so I thought I'd give you some time to prepare for them!!!

Wish me luck! :)

YAY!!! I know what mulberry paper is!!!!

Jess, I'm ready for measurements. What size of mulberry paper did you buy? Did you double side the invite, or one sheet of paper/invite? Some of the paper I looked at was incredibly faded on the backside, which might look weird, so I'd have to double side it I guess?

Thanks for your help!!! smile03.gif

Sorry Courtney, I haven't been on the forum much in the last 3 or 4 days, so I didn't see your post. Yes, moisten and rip the the mulberry paper. I used a carpenters square (2 of them) to get even rips. The size of the paper was 22x30 i belive...here is the site Cranberry Try to find your color on this site, because the paper isn't a funny color on the back (and you won't have to double side it). I had the same problem with some of the pineapple paper that I bought (the light pink paper that was the backing for my inserts). I'm afraid if you double up the paper that it will cost you too much and then you'd have to worry about sticking them together someway. Anyway, let me know if I can help you further....you can always pm me!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
