ROFL, my Kerby is going to be working it's money off today. I spent my entire lunch break at my house vacuuming my up stairs. Ran the washer with the bedding in it, on another cycle with color safe bleach. The second I get home I'm going to finish vacuuming the house, couch, and I'm going to bleach the floor in the kitchen and bathrooms. I'm also going to wash every single do bed, (we have 3 in the house, one for each floor) all the dog blankets, and anything else I can think of that he may have come across.. Shoot I may wash all the dog toys too.. ROFL... Amy you think you have OCD, this is going to put a new meaning to that word... lol

We were told the meds they will give him will take 24 hours to kill whats inside him and then he'll have a recheck in 2 weeks for another round in case the eggs hatch.. (eeew that's what I'm pictures, eggs hatching and worms everywhere in my house..)

While we're on the "worm" topic I must add this story in. My entire family is HUGE animal lovers, and sick, stray animals ALWAYS find their way to our houses. I get a call from my sister a few years ago and she's like "sis, you have to get over here right away, I need your help, HURRY!" We lived right up the street from eachother so I ran right over. In her kitchen she has a baby gate up and a huge raccoon. I was like "what the hell are you thinking, aren't those things agressive?" She told me that he wandered up to her door and was completely missing a leg and she had no choice but to help him. I felt bad for the poor thing, he obviously had some traumatic ordeal and needed a vet A.S.A.P. He was soooo exhausted and was very mellow. We put gloves on and put him in a large box and set out to take him to the Wild life rescue center. We go back to her house and she goes into the kitchen to wipe up the blood from his leg and SCREAMS!!!! There were maggots Everywhere! They must have been in the raccoons wound, and crawled all over her floor. We are both gaggers and were gagging and acting like total girls. We dumped atleast a gallon of bleach on her floor and scrubbed the hell out of it. It was one of the nastiest things I've ever seen. Not too many people get to hear that story cause it isn't your typical conversation topic, but thought I better post it here! :)

ROFL I can one up you on that Andrea..

Not dog related..

Several years ago my older cousin broke his leg and had a cast on his leg up to his knee. Well he went to the DR and complained about itching, asking if they can take off his case because it itched so bad. So the DR took of the case, couldn't see why it was itching.. So he continued to check his leg and noticed a sore inbetween two of his toes. Apperently, somehow maggots got in there and were crawling around UNDER his skin. I swear to God that is a true story.. For the record, my cousin wasn't big on showers/baths so who knows what type of crusted stuff was forming there..

Anyway your story reminded me of it so I had to tell you.. :-)

Lenny was a stray dog and was pulled from a kill shelter, this is normal for his situation. By the time Lenny is adopted the problem will be gone. Most puppies get worms because they eat each others poo, again common with puppies, they tend to spread it to each.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
