OMG you guys I'm totally freaking out and obsessing.

Disclaimer: If you haven't ate breakfast yet, you might not want to read this.. If your pregnant and feeling nauseas, you might not want to read this..

So you all know I foster dogs... Currently we are fostering a senior dog (8-10 yrs old) great dog, friendly, will make someone really happy one day. A couple days ago we notice he (Lenny) had worms in his poo, so we called the vet and made an appointment (today actually is his appointment,,,, THANK GOD) to get him up to date on his shots and be put on a de-wormer med. Ok no dig deal right? **WRONG**

So last night Cain was being lazy and didn't want to put Lenny in his crate for bed, you see Lenny jumped on the bed and wanted to sleep at our feet, Cain thought it was cute, and since Lenny is house trained he figured "why not" So me being the loving wife that I' am I said "fine, but if he jumps out of the bed at night, your getting up and putting him in his crate" Well all was fine through out the night.. Dum dum dum.... UNTIL I went to make the bed this morning... I noticed at least 30, what appeared to be "rice" all over the foot of our bed onto of my comforter.. I yell for Cain (who just stepped out of the shower) and said "what the hell is that" They rice wasn't moving so that put me a little at ease.. Then I said "are those his worms?" Cain said "I don't know, their not moving" SO at that very second I took all the bedding off my bed and threw them in the washer, and I fully plan on washing them at least 2 more times...... So as I start to obsess over it, I start to think that "I need to vacuum the house", "I need to shampoo all the carpet", and "I need to vacuum and shampoo our sofa" All I can picture is rice all over my house where he played, where he laid down on the couch, thinking about every where he has been over since we picked him up....

Well of course today isn't the weekend and I have to go to work, so I'm sitting here, reading everything that can be read on the internet,, now I'm not only freaking out about rice all over my house, but I'm also thinking about "what if my boys (dogs and cat) ate the rice and now they are infected" I seriously want to go home and clean my house from top to bottom, but then what do I do with Lenny afterwards? I mean what if he drips out this rice more? ........I feel dirty........ Do I keep him crated until they are dead? but that is mean, how can I do that to him..... I have had many fosters in my house, I have had them puke, pee, they have had explosive diarrhea in my house, yet this is by far the worst thing I had to deal with.. I'm totally grossed out.... Oh and to top it off, guess what I was going to have for lunch today? Left over Thai food.. Yeah that isn't going to happen now..

Yes that is pretty gross, but it's ok. Better than fleas or ticks, righthuh.gif? I had a cat as a kid and that is how we found out he had worms. Exactly what happen to you, happened to me..or my mom I should say since she was the one making my bed then. She saw the lil "rice" looking things and found out what they were. Anyway, it's def treatable and it's a blessing i disguise, b/c if he didnt sleep there you might not have noticed it for a while, ya know?

Order a pizza tonight, hahaha!

I have no clue.. I'm asking everyone right now that has/had pets to see if they can tell me.. I've read some nasty sh*t online and it's making me feel like I want to throw up.. I seriously have issues with obsessing over stuff to much.. lol

This will sound so nasty...but after we found out Toby (may he rest in peace, ha) had worms, we took notice to these lil tiny white things hanging out his butt, moving and crawling up his tail (almost puked there) they were the worms. They come out and crawl and I guess die after time, but they dry up or soemthing, not positive.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
