Thanks. I was thinking about bringing them but I read somewhere on here that the resort won't let you use the silk petals.
Just as stir crazy as my first wedding!

I wanted real petals to toss on the aisle of my beach ceremony, but Janessa said the on-site coordinator said no because they would all blow away. I've seen other brides use them on the beach at resort though, and they appeared fine..

I found it very windy on the beach (our ceremony was at 4 PM) I personally wouldn't suggest rose petals (or any petals).  However if you do use the petals I would suggest the real ones; I can understand why they would not want you to use silk or any other man made fabric.

If your ceremony is on the sky terrace you will have less wind and your petals might stay put.

For anyone who got married here already. What was the most difficult task when it came to the planning process?

I'm wondering what is the best location for welcome cocktails. I've been thinking about the beach but thinking it would have to rent the lounge furniture so people don't have to stand for 2 hours.

Good Question...to piggy back off of that i would love to know the best place for cocktail hour after the ceremony.

I just talked to Janessa and she quoted me $500 to have a photographer come onsite to do photos.

                  That is rediculous!

Just as a heads up..I know Beach Palace is much like Moon Palace in that they require you to pay a $500 outside vendor fee, you could always book them as a guest for the night. Always get things written in your contracts!!
