Beach Palace in Cancun???

Recommended Posts

Thanks Icirelli!! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! When is the big day?

We had a Palace member help us book our vacation before and I think she's willing to help us book for the wedding. I'll take you up on that offer though if I can't get in touch with her. Did you notice a big difference in pricing? We're on a major budget because we're flying my parents out, as well as his parents and 3 younger sisters - basically that alone eats up half our budget. sad.gif

Still, really excited and looking forward to it though! Do you mind if I ask what you're putting your 1500 points towards?

Hi ladies,

My wedding is booked for Beach Palace on 9/10/11 and my fiance and I are headed there for a site visit next weekend so we are very excited. They were kind enough to comp us two nights. We've also invited 230+ guests but I'm confident that BP will be perfect. I'm just *hoping* our guest list stays under 100 so the ceremony can be on the roof terrace. We already have 30 booked and the wedding is still more than 10 months away.

I plan to take good pics and ask a zillion questions while I'm there but if anyone has any questions they would like answered please let me know. I'd be happy to ask for you.

And I really appreciate the photography recommendations - this is my biggest struggle thus far. I'm very picky when it comes to photos as I dabble in photography as a hobby. But I'm restricted by our budget so it's quite a dilemma. I really like La Luna and Moments That Matter so far. Please continue to send recommendations!

Definitely take advantage of those free nights, they comped us two as well and it was great to visit and meet the wedding planner.  You should try to meet with other vendors as well if you have a chance. We met with our makeup artist while we were there and I'm glad we did, we saw a bigger portfolio than he has online.
If you're picky about pictures, del Sol is the only way to go.  That's the only thing we really went over budget on. Worth is especially since the wedding is entirely free when booking 75+ room nights.

I am anxious to hear what they do for 2011. Our wedding is in June 2012 and we are going to Beach Palace for a site visit in March. The biggest selling point to our guests (other then us getting married lol!) is the $1500 to do what activities they want. I REALLY hope they keep it going or do something better.

My fiance and I just returned from out site visit to Beach Palace and WE LOVE IT!! It's everything we hoped for and more. We also visited Cancul Palace for comparison and it is beautiful too but BP is definitely the place for our wedding. We can't wait for all of our friends and family to join us there in next September.

I highly recommend a site visit to any bride that wants to get married at any destination location. It's a priceless experience to see it first hand and meet some kep people that you will be working with for several months.

We also were able to see two wedding set ups over the weekend which gave us great ideas and we got some invaluable infomation from the couples getting married. We also saw what took place if it began to rain on a outdoor reception. :(

One of the most important things that the couples reiterated was to GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. You cannot hold anyone accountable for anything that was verbal or not specifically written.

As for the hotel, it's beautiful, clean, and the staff is extremely courteous. The beach is out of this world!! Wow. I love it. I'm actually tempted to have my ceremony on the beach but the Sky Terrace is breathtaking! I can't say enough great things about this place.

Congrats! A site visit realllllly helps.  I was dead set on the Beach Palace, but when I went down it just wasn't for us so thankfully I was able to switch to the Cancun Palace.

I totally agree to get everything in writing, thanks for mentioning that!

Did you meet Mario and Marisol for your wedding planners?

Hi Ladies,

I am a newbie to this forum.  I am July 2011 bride and just made an online reservation with Beach Palace in Cancun.  Any newly wed bride signed contract with Beach Palace and took advantage of the $1500 value dollars for the wedding?  I would like to use the $1500 Value Dollars  toward to photography but not sure how that works.  Does anyone know?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
