These are documents and prices I used for planning my Hilton wedding. I hope the information proves helpful....

The first 5 of 8 files are posted in this message. I'll post the rest in a new message. Reducing files to fit the attachment parameters is tough.

You can use the excel file to enter the number of people you'll have and manipulate a budget. Yes, I'm a spreadsheet nerd!

I am having a problem with the whole room block. I would like for it to be an option, but I also know that my guests have many other places in mind. Is it right that I would be responsible for paying for these rooms if not booked by my party?

I know the room block thing can be frustrating. It is my understanding that you can pay the $1,000 location fee OR create a room block. If you reserve a block of rooms, you're responible for 90% of anticipated revenue.

From the contract we signed (see attachment)
"If the event is held, but the Hotel does not realize the total revenue anticipated from your room block, you agree to pay performance damages. The damages owed will be the amount necessary for the Hotel to receive no less than90% of the total anticipated room revenue"

I hope this helps. In the end, only 10 of our 52 guests opted not to stay at the Hilton since our block prices were so good.

Well, we owe 80% of the entire bill by next Friday (09/29, 1 month before our wedding). We have a pretty firm number of guests right now. After 09/29 (1 month prior to event), the numbers canNOT decrease but we can add a few people last minute if necessary. Does that answer your question?
