We have lion statues right around the corner...they scare the crapola out of our two doggies. We can totally help add to your collection... cheesy.gif

My photographer has a garden gnome that was liberated from a graden. His name is Felix and he loves to travel. He stows away on various vacations or will just come hang out in your house and take pictures. There are several albums of his adventures and I think he even has his own MySpace page!

We wanted to take him to Jamaica, but didn't want to risk him getting broken or accused of smuggling drugs.
That's awesome! Have y'all ever heard of Flat Stanley? Little kids do projects where they have to make their own Flat Stanley and then try and take him to as many places as possible and take pics of him there. My friend's niece had this project - we took him to Gloria's for a margarita cheesy.gif SHe also took him to NYC and he nearly got lost in the subway ~ OOPS!

I was a total sticker whore when I was in Elementary school. It was so "THE thing" to do. I would spend all my allowance and very carefully go over all the stickers in the store, then bring them to class and we'd trade or get jealous over others' stickers... weird kids blush2.gif

That's cool that y'all collect art from places that you visit - I've always wanted to do that but we usually run out of money on our trips. We did add a really nice sculpture and handmade colored glass rimmed mirror to our collection from Boston a couple years back. It was such a great feeling :)

I did the same thing! I loved my sticker collection, and I found my books, still filled with stickers, about 5 years ago when my parents sold their home and I needed to clean out all my crap. I loved the fuzzy stickers and the sparkly stickers! I remember that they were so expensive back then . . . now they have stickers everywhere due to scrapbooking mania. If I would have seen stickers like that back then, I would have lost my mind (and all my allowance!).

Shelly I am with you on that... I totally forgot. That's not a collection, more of an obsession... And now with me interviewing to be a makeup artist...I know my collection, or obsession rather, is going to get insane...

I do my makeover on Friday on my model...I hope I do well so I can live and breathe MAC...lol

I found my sticker collection book when I was at my parent's house recently. I would take the stickers off the sticker page and put them on pages of a notebook. Then I even included the leftover outline of the sticker page (because, duh, that was a sticker too!! haha). I would draw in the empty shapes of the outline with my own sticker designs. How silly are we as children!! The entire book was full of the most random stickers!!

Oh yeah - well I was so hardcore that I wouldn't even take the stickers off their pages! I would keep them all in a box and if anyone touched one they were DEAD! LOL cheesy.gif smile120.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
