Great review Cynthia, thank you for sharing!

Congrats!!![/QUO

Luis and I are looking for a Cuban trio to play at our wedding as well, and I saw that you hired a group called Coco Ache. Do you have any contact details for them, and do you remember about how much you paid? Thanks your advise is very helpful.

Sorry I don't have their contact information. Our wedding planner Michael and Eva booked them for us.

Considering the bad weather and poor lighting for the day, we got pretty good pictures from the CD. There are no film negatives, all negatives are on CD. Hope it helps. Well if you can afford it you should fly your own photographer as a guest in your wedding, that way you will get more coverage and also more special moments. The local photographer only covers about 5 hours. Our party lasted longer than that and unfortunately no guest took any picture of our crazy pool party after midnight and we really hoped we had some nice picutures or films for our memory.

Hello there, just a quick comment re: film or digital pictures......nowadays it's all digital and as long as you get the digital ones in a big format(one that stores the most info of the image), which could be RAW format or the highest jpg format, then you'll be fine. You can develop them later, print them later back at home and even have some enlargements and the quality of the image will be great. But all this your photographer should now already!!....Anyway having it in digital format your photogrpaher can even specially treat the images to get the most out of it, using regular software like photoshop......So good luck!!

Hello Cynthia,

I hope you're still checking this thread...I found this review extremely helpful. My fiancee and I have been struggling lately with the size constraints at Casa Cosmos and I think you've laid out the pros/cons very well. With that in mind, I think I might have a few followup questions for you.

would it be possible for you to email us at dreyes00@hotmail.com

thanks--

danny & gabby

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
