Thanks so much for the info!! So it sounds like you liked the Blue Lagoon...that makes me feel better b/c we want to have a longer reception!! Did you by any chance ask any questions about music? I was wondering if they just have speakers that you could hook an ipod up to like the other resorts?

I didn't ask about the iPod speaker setup at Blue Lagoon-- we were thinking that if we took it we'd get a DJ or live music, depending on how many guests we end up with/budget.

Thank you so much, girls! I can't believe it's almost here! We leave a week tomorrow! I STILL haven't received any photographs from Jascynthia (as promised) but the Blue Lagoon it is going to be. THEY are printing up the menues (according to J) and it's going to be white linen - with whatever decorations we bring along...

 

We have actually decided that it would be so much more fun to head to the bar that plays live music, after the wedding... rather than the 24 of us (!) dancing to tunes on our iPod. It's such a mixed age group in our crowd... and there will certainly be those who will stay up partying all night long. (I promise we'll get up for our TTD shoot in the a.m., Josh. You just might have to shake us!)

 

We really are starting to get really excited!

 

Oh, Jascynthia promises that the gazebo is going to be in order. I'm going to relinquish the worry and assume she's telling the truth at this point... lol

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
