We are going back to Jamaica at the end of August and I believe we will be staying at the Grand Pallidium for our honeymoon. We are going to stay at the adult only side of the resort in the honeymoon villa. I will be sure to update you on some of the requests you have about the resort.

We passed it on our way from Ochi to Negril and it is BEAUTIFUL. That is why we decided to go back because the rates are good right now. It is going to be $1600 for 6 nights in the best room they have. After the resort gains popularity the prices will be sure to skyrocket just like Riu.

Congrats on pickingyour resort. I too will be a Palladium bride, but in Punta Cana.

If you want more info on the resort, there is a forum exclusively for Palladium goers. Palladium Addict

You can find out info from people that have already been there, occasionally they even have senior resort management on, and you can sometimes get perks at the resorts if you are a 'Palladium Addict'.

RB2b - Matt & I have the romance suite (on Lady Hamilton side - adults only side) aswell... for a few days before & after the wedding (week total) The photographs do look beautiful!

And ethrondson - I must check out that site! I really appreciate it!

I have a question.....

Is the lady Hamilton all adults only or is only the specific "romance suites"?

I have one minor on my guest list (he just turned 13) so I need to make sure he's allowed. I really like the Lady Hamilton side better but if it's adults only I'll take a closer look at the GP. Has anybody else read this info anywhere?

As I understand it... GP and GPLH are all one resort - with one side (LH) being adult only. The "goings-on" and hub (if you will) are in the center of the two.

I expect to have most (if not the majority) staying on the GP side... and myself and Matt, my parents, my brother and his wife - all on the LH side. I think that's right! Hope it helps!

Do check out Palladium Addicts though. There is a TON of information on there! thanks, ethrondson... wink.gif

No problem. My Mom and I have been members of that site for a few years now. Out of 20 booked so far, 11 will be returning guests to a Palladium resort. I can't wait to hear your review when you get back, as none of us have been to that Palladium yet!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
