OMG Liz, that is so crappy. I feel so bad for you. I thought only being able to take tylenol when I had migraines was bad, but this is sooo much worse. Is there nothing at all that you can take? You are in your first trimester as well right? That means you probably can't take anything else. I really hope it heals fast. Are you going to be off work for a while?

Ugh!!! That sucks Lizz!!! I also almost had a heart attack when I saw your thread thinking it was something with the baby...

Hopefully you'll heal quickly! Try to keep your hand elevated which should help a bit with the pain, and ice it! Sucky that you can only take Tylenol, but thank goodness they weren't broken!

Oh no that sounds like the longest 20 - 30 seconds EVER!!!! Totally makes me cringe I've seen people break their fingers because of a car door before! I panicked when I saw this thread, glad to see it was minor and not involving your baby!

My mom thought it was about the baby too when I called her from the ER...sorry to scare you girls!

I'm still in my 1st trimester so only tylenol. Ugh...I have to get root canal in 2 weeks with only tylenol too...bad timing on these things.

I'm a little nervous b/c this is my 2nd xray in a month (the other @ the dentist). They double-shielded my stomach both times, but still...

I think this is workers comp, so they'll pay for it which is nice. But when I looked at the ppwk. when I got home I saw the dr. wrote I could return to work Monday. 80% of my job is computer-based, so I'm not sure how that's going to work. He said I have to wear the splint for at least a week.

I'm totally milking this and just made Mike order me dinner and he's now playing wiffle ball with my nephew who I'm babysitting overnight.

(Wow, that just took me like 10 minutes to type this!!!)

Well, at least your finger will hurt less after the root canal! Stub your toe, and maybe you'll forget about your mouth too! Just think how much this is preparing you for delivering a baby!

Don't worry about the xray. I work in the operating room and there are always girls who are pregnant. We use xrays on almost every surgery, and the ones who are pregnant just use lead every single time. The babies are always healthy, and there is way more radiation in those rooms than you'll ever get! So, no worries!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
