Wedding Coordinators recomendations

Recommended Posts

Yip, totally agree with you, outside coordinators are always a better and wiser choice and most likely more keen and familiar with coordinating a wedding....and, believe me, there are sooo many things to do in "coordinating", I have great admiration for them. The things they get are so exquisite, specially those really elaborate bouquets, really beautiful.

Hope the best for your planning!

Just recently she sent an email to me which I didn't get so she followed up by calling to ask if I got it. I didn't receive it, so I was glad she did call.

I'm also paying $3000 for her but I feel it's well worth it. We go out to visit in October, and she's going to set up the tastings, meeting with florist and set up a visit at the reception site (we're renting a villa near the Sheraton) and driving us around. I personally like not having to contact vendors and negotiate. I really believe she's doing the best to meet my budget because she knows all the vendors, their costs and the quality of their work. I've just collected images of what I'd like to see at my wedding and sent them to Amy to help me achieve what I want. She'll be there for the rehearsal and wedding day, coordinating the ceremony and reception set up, so again, I feel like the extra money is worth the peace of mind.

Another thing is, since she's American, I never feel like things are lost in translation. I'm always confident that what I've communicated is fully understood. Hope that helps!

I just wanted to share with you ladies a video made for FLC (Fiestas Los Cabos) at Villa Cortez, here's the link:

I hope this helps!

I thought the pictures of Sueno looked charming but then today I found some more photos on tripadvisor that made the place look like a dump! eek!

Reassure me: is Sueno nice?
If it is the Casa Sueno by Zippers in the Costa Azul area on the Corridor, then I would find something else, I've seen it in person...the pool/beach area is ok, but the house is very outdated and not really workable...but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for the info! I really just didn't feel right about Sueno. I just got a bad vibe so I found a totally different place through SunCabo, Casa Del Costa Tranquilo. It's also known as Buzzard's Villa and it has a third name as well. It seems fannnnnnnnntastic. Have you ever heard of it or seen it in person?

I am excited about it!

Hello, I'm sure you'll find several options, just stick with the one you feel most comfortable with and answers your questions promptly. Here in cabo there are really, really pro coordinators, probably the best in Mexico. The market here is quite sophisticated and used to tending to special clients and requests smile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
