I had never heard of having two wedding bands until I joined this forum! I think I'll have to convince the FI that we need to get me some more bling bling!!! You can't have to much sparkle!!!

It is so true! I didn't hear about double bands until BDW. My FI was against it, but I sweet talked him into it. :) I need to get around and take a good pic of my ring. I have a bad one, perhaps I should post it anyways.

I have heard of 2 bands prior to BDW- but usually the 2nd band came for an anniversary.

I don't have a wedding band- so I just slip one ring on. :)

However, I always thought it made more sense to wear your e ring on the bottom and the wedding band gets added during there ceremony therefore it's on top. I know that's not the traditional way (which I never knew until I got engaged myself.) Logically, it just made more sense to wear them in the order they came, but I guess I get the idea of wearing it closer to your heart.

              So that's a lot of babble.....LOL

We're getting another band that matches the wedding band, but not till our 1 year anniversary. Holla!

I love the 3 ring look-especially if the 3 are delicate. But I have fat ( so i say) fingers so I got a BIG e ring and a meduim wedidng band-If i added a third-it woud be at my knuckle almost!!! LOL

Perhaps one for the right hand!!! Ah -ha I gt another thing to tell FI! LOL

When my FMIL and FFIL got engaged the only thing my FFIL could afford was a gold band so that was my FMIL's ering. Then for their wedding he surprised her w/ a solitaire which she wears on the inside. So hers appear backwards but really she has her wedding ring on the inside and ering on outside. So this could be the case for other people.
