Are you planning on paying for the ten guests? How long are you planning on staying in Mexico?
I have been looking at April of 2008 as well. I would recommend later in the month as it will be cheaper. Since Easter is in March, that will help you out, but the first week of April might still be expensive.
If you only paid for your own stay, stayed a short time and had a basic wedding package, I think you could have a wonderful wedding for $3000.

Thanks so much for the welcome! I orginally found Las Caletas and fell in love with it especially the price! FI and I are thinking April 2008 eventhough we LOVE the Hawaiian islands (we have been 4X) but due to the financial situations of some family members along with distance (we live in Boston), and we do not want a destination wedding in the states, we choose Mexico. I want a max of 10 people but know my future mother in law is VERY concerned about the costs for guests which upsets me a bit. They all want to be part of our day but are now giving us limitations. I am not crazy about have a reception at home because I want to cut costs which way I am looking for the most economical destination wedding for everyone involved. Am I getting stressed out over nothing?
Can you girls tell me if it is possible to have a wedding in Mexico for 10 people for $3000? Am I CRAZY?
I think it's totally possible for you to have a wonderful wedding/reception for that amount of money!

        First of all---welcome!!!
As for the price - what are you including in that price? All your travel and hotel? You can totally do it for that price depending on what you include.

              Hi Girls!

I am thinking $3000 for 10 people not including our airfare and hotel stay but I now I know that $3000 is just silly...forget it.
My future in laws are now steering me towards Bermuda....anyone know anything? It seems their marriage laws are kinda strict.

              Welcome Denise!

I don't think $3000 isn't realistic, infact I think it's doable. You're just talking the ceremony fees right?

Welcome Denise!! $3K I am not sure about that. You might, but you would really need to cut a lot here and there.
