I hope it's OK to post these late. I finally had the time to get out & collect the alphabets.

I should be able to keep up now that I'm done with my photography class.

that was the reason why I started this alphabet thing last year. Someone on BDW showed me a website where they sell these & i thought it would be a cool gift idea. I just didn't get as far without the inspiration. I was spending too much time on hiking trails & it's so much harder to find the letters in trees. Going around campus was much better.

So the idea is to have a collection of letters to frame as gifts. Like the last name for a wedding gift, a babies name for a newborn gift, etc.

If I hang anything up it will be our last name. putting morgan on the wall is too junior high :) i was just excited to see I could spell it out.

First names could make nice birthday presents for kids, not just babies. I had been thinking of it as a baby gift. it would be so much nicer than the dot matrix banner I had hanging in my room that said "morgan". remember those things we made in print shop in the 80s? you'd have to tear the little edges off the paper that had the holes in it.

I was also thinking about making thank you cards & birthday cards with the letters. I'm sure we'll be able to come up with lots of ideas for our letters once we are done. fun!

I looked some last year. I thought a panoramic frame would work the best. we should post here if we find something cool.

Morgan I fell upon a site like that too, and that's what gave me the idea. I'm making my sister/husband and Cain's Aunt & Her husband a frame for Christmas. I also want to make a frame for me, but I'm looking for a really cool B first. It's really important to me that I'm the one that took all the pictures, it's more personal, KWIM?

I was thinking of a panoramic frame but I wasn't sure how many letters it would hold, so I need to find the frame first so that I know what size pictures to order.

even if I'm not trying to be funny, I'm always being silly.

too bad I don't have a good K. that is one letter I'm really on the lookout for. a K & a B. I almost tripped the other day because I was looking around me so much I wasn't paying attention.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
