Thanks. It is only a week and a half away!!!! Don't worry, I will totally let you all know how things went.

Oh yeah, the hotel that they are using is very nice and the cheapest rooms are about $195 a night, and the most expensive are about $495 and I don't think they are going for the basic cheap room either. I am think either the in-between room of the suite!

Ok girls. I had my BD session and would totally recommend it!!! Do it!!! Erica is really sweet and makes you feel calm and relaxed right away. I was so nervous I thought I was going to throw up but hadn't had any lunch to do so. Then I fumbled around in the bathroom trying to get changed and as soon as I walked into the room, we got to business. She came to look at my outfits before I got ready for the shoot, and she just directed me as to where she wanted me and who she wanted me. It was so great and I couldn't believe how quickly it went. I just got back some teasers and posted them on another thread.

I asked her about the interest from Toronto and she of course was wondering how I knew about it, so I told her all about BDW!!!! I guess there was a request for her to go to Nova Scotia too, so she may do a little tour down east there! I see she also added another option that you can order. If you want to see the prices, just click onto a location that she is going to and then it will show you the different options and prices.

Ladies. I just wanted to share that I did my BD shoot with 2 friends in Toronto with Lisa Mark Photography. She was AMAZING!! We rented an older style loft (very cool, with an antique couch and lots of windows!). She charged us each $400, which included 2 hours of shooting (I think I got over 120 images), hair & make-up by a pro, a high-res cd with all of the images and a photobook! I was super nervous when we got there, but we brought wine and everything felt better. Lisa was awesome and within minutes we were all super-star models!!! Here are her packages:

Package A - $400

- Travel to a location of your choice in the GTA

- Full hair and make-up by Tania Beattie (she will stay for the full two hours and do several changes to the hair…she will also touch-up hair and make-up for the full duration of the shoot)

- 2 hours of shooting by Lisa Mark

- 3 outfit changes

- Disc of all high-resolution images (including 10 fully retouched images on the disc)

Package B - $350

- Travel to a location of your choice in the GTA

- Full hair and make-up by Tania Beattie (she will only come for the beginning of the session and then leave)

- 2 hours of shooting by Lisa Mark

- 3 outfit changes

- Disc of all high-resolution images (including 10 fully retouched images on the disc)

Package C - $200 (Photography only, no hair & make-up)

- Travel to a location of your choice in the GTA

- 2 hours of shooting by Lisa Mark

- 3 outfit changes

- Disc of all high-resolution images (including 10 fully retouched images on the disc)

***NEW - ADD A PHOTOBOOK TO YOUR PACKAGE FOR $75***

A beautiful soft cover photobook which is 8.5 x 11 inches in size and has 10 double-sided pages (can fit 20 full size images or more if some pages are collages) costs an additional $75 and I would be happy to add it on to one of the above packages for you (please note that all images used in the book would be fully retouched).***

Actually Lisa has the contact. Its a rental for film/photogs I guess. It was $150 for the entire day, so there was 3 of us, $50 each. It was really neat. The hair/makeup girl, Tania, came there with all of here products and did a really great job! She was really amazing; and I thought it was a great deal for all of the images I got. They turned out great.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
