DW items vs. Personalized items in gift bags..???

Recommended Posts

ok so I was thinking instead of making personalized crap with our name on welcome bag items how about hawaii items. For example instead of personalizing the shot glasses give guest Tikiki shot glass, hawaiian key chains, hawaiin mugs, etc....make the welcome bag full of souveneirs...

if i gave u a gift bag with hawaiian vs personalized stuff which would you perfer...now the bag will have our personalization on it (if i can follow anns instructions lol)

i was thinking of ths b/c they came all the way here to hawaii i can save some money hawaii souvenirs (sp??)..and i save money lol lol

thoughts?

i was going to do the shot glass with our name on one side and hawaii on the other but it was expensive
What about a combination of both? Some personallized items and some Hawaiian souvenirs?

Sherri, I was thinking of doing something similar, giving my guests things from mexico. Are you ordering the stuff or just going to pick it up when you get there? This is the only reason I haven't decided if I will do it because I'm nervous to wait until I get to mexico and then not find anything I want!

But I think its a great idea, I'd like all the cool souvenirs!

Ya, I agree... a nice mix would be great. I'd personalize things that don't necissarily have to do with the location (e.g. a waterbottle, lip balm etc). I like the idea of personalizing items for the OOT bags, but it is way more expensive... I'm not sure that we'll do it for that reason.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
