I'm an idiot and I keep forgetting to comment on this thread. I am so glad all the Cali girls are safe.

That what to do in an emergency stuff is so confusion! Are you telling me there are no architectural engineers and/or scientists out there who can tell us what the best plan is? That is so frustrating!

I remember I saw a Victoria Beckham special (her mini reality show) and her assistant got a guy (I think he was a firefighter or something) to teach her earthquake safety. He was teaching her to get under the desk! WTF? And I remember Posh was so scared like "Wtf do I do?" LOL.

I would freak out if I was in an earthquake, tornado, or hurricane. Geez I'm starting to think Nyers don't have it that bad after all. We don't get any of that stuff. I'll take a mugging and a drive by shooting any day over an earthquake.

Okay you got me on the cheese steaks! We have history but our oldest building is still at least 100+ years younger than yours!

Now as for the gunsmoke...well just stay away from the east side while you're here unless you want a taste of Philly :P

Yesterday at work we were watching a montage of reality shows that were taping as the earthquake hit...we were all dying laughing at the people who were like "wtf is this?" as they ran around like fools. It was then I realized that I was working with Cali people...here we are making fun of them for tripping out when if some Kansas people saw us in a twister they would be making fun of us! I guess we all have our own things we can handle and things that scare the pants off of us!

This made me laugh cause when my parents went to Philly with us for Christmas last year, we went to where George Washington crossed the Delaware and it was only a 20 minute drive from my FI's house. Anyhow, he had never been there. LOL!

The Triangle does make sense. Honestly though, my emergency plan is to crap my pants (after all, isn't that part of fight or flight. LOL) then pray.

Glenda- I totally saw that Posh episode. I think its the only one I saw, but it was pretty funny. She looked sooo confused.

Oddly enough, she has a better personality than I originally thought. I think I could kick it with her.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
