You're story totally gives me chills! That is so sweet and romantic. I don't know very many people who would do this. I'm sure it is going to make the wedding even more special (if that's even possible). Now I can see why he wants to spend the ENTIRE day in bed. It's really awesome that you found someone so special.

How cool for you, AshleyRose, but there's no way I could do it unless I was getting married next WEEK (and barely even then!). I do know that you guys have other circumstances that are causing you to wait, but my goodness! Hang in there, girl!

Sam takes liberal opportunity to kiss my cheek, my forehead, my hand... It makes me feel super safe.

 

Men have not been nice to me... starting with my dad. He was harsh and unloving and didn't give hugs or anything... I've flip flopped between the two extremes.

 

Sam values me, cherish me, and wants what is best for me. At this point, us not kissing on the mouth is what makes me feel safest and has let me build trust in him.

 

I think the pastor is going to have to pull him off me at the ceremony. The boy is definitely waiting for a kiss!

That's wonderful. I'm so happy that you were able to find the perfect guy to help you get through it all. I had a lot of "trust" issues with men from my childhood as well so I know what it means to have a patient, loving man help you work through those fears! I can't wait for your wedding day though.... :)

One of Mandy's best friends and her FI decided no kissing before they got married. He had been a wildman bachelor before he met her, and they felt it would strengthen their relationship. Their first kiss was definitely "hot" and they didn't stick around very long after the reception. msnwink.gif

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
