A issue with ROR

It has been my dream for the past year to get married at ROR. However, my FI has cancer. He will be having a stem cell transplant in Oct/Nov. So, that will be the first time we have available to get married. We originally planned for Dec.,but he will be too weak. I have tried several times to get April 4th our dream date...our goal date at ROR. Does anyone have any ideas?! I really need some help on this one!!

that week seems to be very busy at the ROR. Its the week leading up to Easter! You might be best ringing them direct to explain your situation, they may be able to 'fit you in' then.

Yes, I agree send a email or try to call the wedding department and see what they can do to help you out.

I would ask them if there are people who booked the date and havent confirmed. People tend to reserve numerous wedding days and the Riu forgets to release them.

 

They can contact the people who have not confirmed (by booking a room) and ask if they will be using that date.

 

But you have to call the main Riu wedding branch not ROR.

Definitely contact the main office. They helped me get the date that I really wanted by calling couples who had the dates on hold but hadn't actually completed the reservation process. Its worth a try. Good Luck!

However, we heard from the doctor today and were told that he cannot leave the country for about a year.

 

So, we are heading to Hilton Head!
