I did not have much luck in the email department either. I finally just called, they have a 1-800 number. I got a hold of Guillermo the 2nd time I tried. They said my date is confirmed but I have gotten anything aside from the email in writing. I sent another email yesterday and if I don't hear back by Thursday I am going to call again.

I know, because of friends living out of the country, that sometimes internet goes down or off and on. I don't know if that is what is going on but when I spoke with Guillermo I felt comfortable enough to book my date.

I can't wait to see everyone's pics!!

Im glad to hear that one can have a priest for a blessed ceremony. So does that mean that the bishop has approved the continual of catholic ceremonies at the resort? I know what you mean about the chapel, I absolutely loved it. This resort has everything that I envisioned. Once again congratulations.

I definitely agree with Graciela if you are considering this place just book it.

Congratulations once again.
This resort looks amazing!!! Has anyone been able to get confirmation on the Catholic Ceremony at the chapel??

Hi so I was told by the Valentin that I had June 5th, 6 pm locked in for my wedding, but now they are coming back with, "Another wedding is already planned at 5:30 so the 6 pm slot won't work". Did anything like this happen with anybody? Also now they are asking for an $800 deposit to reserve my time slot. This is making me worried that something else might change down the road.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
